Skeleton Identified
The skeleton of a child found in the Blue Mountains, West of Sydney, on Saturday, was positively identified today, as that of Vicki Barton, aged eight, whose disappearance from a street in the Blue Mountains town of Lawson 18 months ago led to one of the most intensive searches made in New South Wales. The police are working on the theory that the child was abducted and murdered. — Sydney, August 4.
