To General Building Contractors and Mechanical Services Contractors NEW WARDS and CLINICAL SERVICES BLOCK CHRISTCHURCH HOSPITAL FOR THE NORTH CANTERBURY HOSPITAL BOARD THIS CONTRACT comprises a 7 storey Wards Block With an attached 4 storey Clinical Services Block all in reinforced concrete. The total floor area is approximately 283,000 square feet and the construction period is expected to be about 4 years. Tenders will be invited shortly for: (a) General Building Work. (b) Mechanical Services work as a nominated subcontract General Building Contractors and Mechanical Services Contractors interested in tendering for this work are invited to submit their names in writing to the Architects not later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 1970. Only firms in a substantial way of business will be permitted to tender and applications must be supported with adequate evidence to show the financial and practical ability of the firm concerned to undertake a contract of this size. Firms selected as Tenderers will be required to provide a deposit of $2OO for each set of Tender Documents, refundable upon the return of the Documents in good order and condition and upon receipt of a bona fide tender.
