South Island Tour
A group of 12 travel agents from the Auckland province will arrive in Christchurch today for a tour of major resorts in the South Island. They are the guests of Trans Tours (N.Z.), Ltd. Mr W. Whiting, the New Zealand sales manager for Trans Tours, said that familiarisation tours were an important part of a travel agent’s education. The agents will visit Mount Cook, Queenstown, Lake Manapouri, Te Anau, Milford Sound and Invercargill before flying home. N.A.C. is granting the transport to and from the South Island.
