CITY'S VIEW New Reading And Stormwater

Unless the Christchurch Drainage Board took positive steps to co-ordinate a major stormwater programme for the inner city area with the reading proposals (including oneway streets) associated with the transport plan for the metropolitan area, and priorities assessed on that basis, the continuing development of the whole region could be adversely affected by the resulting delays, the City Council informed the board last evening.
