SEOUL, July 28. South Korea said today that it had sunk a heavilyarmed North Korean spy ship of about 50 tons seven miles below the sea border off the east coast this morning. It was the third North Korean spy craft to be sunk off the South Korean coast this year, according to the Counter-Espionage Operations Command. As a South Korean coastguard post opened fire, the spy ship fled north-east, replying with machine-gun fire.
