Scout Warrants Presented
A district scout commissioner and an assistant district commissioner were both presented with their warrants at a meeting of district commissioners and district chairmen of the Canter bury area of the Scout Association on Saturday They are Mr M Adams, of Darfleld. who Is commissioner for the Selwyn district and Mr A Marshall, who is assistant commissioner for Selwyn The commissioners and chairmen from the 26 districts in the Canterbury area attended the meeting at the Blue Skies centre, Kaiapoi, and, as well as area affairs, decided the training programme for the next year.
