‘Ambition’ For Games
The decision to hold the 1974 Commonwealth Games in Christchurch was “the biggest event that had ever happened in this town,” said toe Cycling administrator on toe Commonwealth Games executive (Mr M. Litolff). “It is an ambition our novice and junior riders, and some of our seniors, will be able to strive for over the next three years, and it will also give athletes in the other sports named for toe Games a goal to work towards,” Mr Litolff Skid.
