TWO MEN INJURED

Two persons were taken to Christchurch Hospital by St John ambulance after two cars collided at the intersection of Stanmore Road and Cashel Street about 5.15 p.m. yesterday. Lara William Farney Besley, of Millbrook Apartments, Carlton Mill Road, was admitted with head injuries, and his condition last evening was satisfactory. Alfred Alan Besley, of 51A Bowenvale Avenue, was discharged after being seen by a doctor.
