Fijians Tire, Lose 6-13
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Counties defeated the touring Fijian Rugby team, 13-6, at Papakura yesterday. G. J. Barbara (2), K. H. MacMillan scored tries and R. N. Lendrum kicked two conversions for Counties, and K. Nalatu and I. Tuisese scored tries for Fiji. The Fijian forwards, except for the prop, J. Sovau, slowed considerably in the second half and the Counties, faster to the loose ball, was able to set its back-line moving.
