Social Club Grant
The Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Board last evening decided unanimously to increase its annual grant to the Christchurch Fire Brigade Social Club from 9350 to $5OO. A letter from the club said that the increase in members caused a financial strain in supplying amenities at outlying stations and arranging get-together functions that were for the benefit of all.
