Court Sequel To Rioting

(N CASERTA (Italy), July 15. A court in Caserta, north of Naples; has found 14 people, who were identified from photograhs and films guilty of threats, criminal instigation and other charges in connection with riots in the town last year over a soccer dispute. Altogether, 82 people were charged, but the remainder were either acquitted for lack of evidence or benefited from a recent amnesty.

Last September, the police fought running battles for two days and nights with soccer fans who burnt the railway station to give vent to their anger at the demotion of the local team, Casertana, from the second to the third division after a bribery case.
