Preference will be given to applicants with recognised qualifications in modern electronics (N.Z. Certificate of Engineering, Electrical/Electronics option: or Trade Certificate) and witn experience in use and maintenance of modern electronic equipment. Consideration would also be given to applicants with wide practical experience in this field and who would be prepared to take further qualifications. Duties will be interesting and varied in pleasant surroundings. The opening of a new Department of Nuclear Medicine in the near future will give added interest to this position. Normal hours of duty will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary in accordance with Hospital Employment (Regulation 9 Workers) Regulations will be within the range Technician's Grade 111 to Technician Grade I, viz: $917 p.a. to $3022 p.a. and the commencing rate within these scales will be in accordance with qualifications and experience of the appointee.
