Offer Made To Soccer Rep.
(N.Z. Press Association! AUCKLAND. Eastern Suburbs, the Rothmans National Soccer League leader, has made an undisclosed bid for Gisborne City’s international forward, M. Bland. Although he would not disclose the price offered for Bland, the chairman of Eastern Suburbs (Mr J. Dannenburg) said last night that if the offer was accepted by Gisborne, the club hoped to have Bland within a week.
