Reversed result
New Brighton won th junior teams' match in th Skellerup Steeples Harriet meeting at Queen Elizabeth II Park recently. On tb day of the race Morningto-. (Dunedin) was announced a> the winner. A check of tho results subsequently showed that New Brighton ha-I gained the decision by a narrow margin, said an official of the Christchurch Harrier Club, which organised the meeting. Some confusion had probably arisen by the inter-pro-vincial match with Otago being held in conjunction with the race, with the Canterbury representatives wearing the provincial colours instead of their club uniforms.
