Plan To Cut Number

South Korea has been told of a United States plan to reduce the number of American troops serving in Korea, the office of the Prime Minister (Mr Chung 11-Kwon) announced today. The United States Ambassador (Mr William Porter) will discuss the plan with Mr Chung when he receives further information from Washington.
The reduction was discussed by the United States Secretary of State (Mr William Rogers) and the South Korean Foreign Minister (Mr Choi Kyu-Hah) in Saigon on Sunday.
