Rubber Workers
Sir;—A management spokesman at the Empire Rubber Mills has suggested that the time has come for a secret ballot among the employees to decide whether strike action is to be taken; He must know, after his dealings with the Rubber Workers’ Union, that this is the very last thing that union officials will allow; even if a worker suggests this at a meeting he is liable to be black-listed and victimised. —Yours, etc, WORKER. .July 7, 1970.
