Eight Women Interested

Already eight women have notified the racing secretary of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club (Mr T. H. Davis) that they are prepared to drive in a non-totalisator race at Addington Raceway next month.

In addition two women said that although they had had no experience of driving horses in training, they intended to practise with horses trained by friends and they hoped to be allowed to drive in the proposed race.
