Tenders to be on an operating price for hour basis “all in” (inclusive of machine hire, operator, equipment positioning, transport, and other charges, etc.). Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. All equipment to be supplied and maintained by the tenderer with preference given to a ’dozer in the 100 h.p. class with blade. Box 513, Christchurch, for temporary grazing rights on a year to year basis over approximately 2140 acres being part R.S. 37047, Blocks X and XI, Mt Thomas Survey District. The lessee will be responsible for payment of all rates and also for the construction and maintenance of approximately three miles of stockproof fencing, and the removal of this at the termination of the lease. The Forest Service reserves the right to construct and utilise roads or tracks, and to carry out establishment preparation operations in the area at any time during the currency of the lease. The lessee shall be required to grant right of access to the lessee of an area adjacent to the advertised area. Grazing restricted to sheep only. Prospective tenderers should contact the Officer in Charge at Ashley Forest to arrange inspection prior to submitting tenders.
