(NZPA-Reuter—Copyright) MALVERN. Three New Zealanders scored wins in the first round of men’s singles in the BioStraph tennis tournament at Malvern (Worcestershire) yesterday. I. Beverley beat R. E. Bird (Britain), 6-1, 6-0; J. Simpson beat C. Everton l (Britain), 6-4, 6-3, and O. Parun beat M. Brown (Britain), 6-0, 6-1.

March Past.—As many as 182 teams, from under Sst 71b to under Sst. are expected to take part in the parade of young Rugby players at Lancaster Park on August 1.
