Presbyterian Inductions
Two new workers for the! Presbyterian Social Service I Association in Christchurch.; Sister I. Probert and Mr G.| L. Crozier, will be inducted;, at a service to be held in[| the St Albans Presbyterian , Church on July 16. Sister Probert. deaconness', at St Paul’s Presbyterian ] Church, Cashel Street, has ] been appointed medical andji general social worker for the I association. Her job will in-;, elude visiting, assessing, advi- i sing, counselling and assist-j ing the 150 perso-ns on the : association's waiting list, and arranging for elderly persons l to be cared for in their own;, homes. Mr Crozier, formerly of the Presbyterian Publicity Studio in Christchurch, has been appointed field officer for the} association. He replaces the} Rev. H. W. Johnston who retired earlier this year after} i seven years. I The induction service will i be conducted by the Modera-; (tor of the Christchurch Pres-, bytery (the Rev. E, H. Z. iChapman), and the sermon, I will be preached by the Rev. |J. G. Sinclair of Ashburton . ! The charge will be delivered I ;by the Rev. J. P. Edgar.
