The salary payable will be within the scale $6740-$9lOl by nine automatic annual increases and the commencing rate will be determined in accordance with the appointees qualifications and experience. The Regulations also provide for progression beyond the maximum automatic rate of $9lOl per annum in three steps to $10,562 per annum in case of exceptional responsibility or of exceptional merit.
