Accord Reached In Amman

I The Jordanian Government and Palestinian commandos have agreed on a 10-point plan for a cease-fire and forces of both sides are to return to their bases. Radio Amman announced this morning. The agreement was reached at a meeting at the Royal palace early today between King Hussein and the Palestine Liberation Organisation
■ leader, Yasser Arafat, the radio said. [ The radio said that full agreement had been reached [on 10 principles to settle the crisis between the two sides, [which involved the cease-fire and return of all regular and commando forces to their bases.
. Earlier, reports from (Beirut had said firing continued late into the night in the Jordanian capital after day-long clashes between King Hussein's troops and Palestinian commandos. One guerrilla group estimated that the clashes cost [5O lives. : The 10 principles related to a cease-fire, attempts to discover who caused the trouble, joint units resuming normal duties and the release of prisoners.
I A Tel Aviv report said that [lsraeli jets had rained more [bombs on Egyptian positions along the Suez Canal in the last 10 days than all the bombs dropped during the June, 1967, war. Amman Radio said that; King Hussein had ordered the payment of compensation to those who lost any relatives or property as a result of the recent events. The sources estimated that well over 5000 bombs had been dropped in more than 120 hours. The planes have been in action since they launched the present series of intensified strikes on May 30.
