Oaks Now In Autumn
The Hew Zealand Oaks, usually run at the Hew Brighten Trotting Club’s meeting in December, will In future be Included In the eragramme for the club’s autumn meeting. This was announced yesterday by the president of the club (Mr Jt E. Prendergast). The committee felt It would assist owners by running the classic in the autumn, as It would allow more time to meet the qualifying clause attached to the race. It was also felt that th* nines would be morb seasoned and this factof should add to the general quality of the contest. ►*************sr***#sr****4h>#
