The Blccarten Highland Pipe Band elected the following officere at the recent annual meeting:—Patron, Mr J. Deans; vice-patrons, Messrs T. A. Gordon and B. W. J. Harrington; president, Mr F. H. Bennison: vice-presidents, Messrs H. Bell and T. D. Anderson (active), and 12 others; secretarytreasurer, Mr R. K, Thomson; custodian, Mr c. Steel; trustees, Messrs T. D. Anderson, E Brewer and R. K. Thomson; auditor. R. F. Murray and Company; solicitor. Mr T. D. Anderson: committee, Messrs D McLay, B. Brewer, J. Gordon. G. Steel, W. Mitchell, J. McTainsn and E. Hepworth; centre delegates, Messrs M. Robinson and R. K. Thomson; drum major, Mr M. Robinson; deputy-drum major. Mr R. K. Thomson; drum sergeant, Mr R. Milner: drum corporal, Mr E. Hepworth; drum lance-corporal, Mr R. Gray; pipe major, Mr T. Young; pipe sergeant. Mr I. McEwan; pipe corporal, Mr J. McTainsh; and pipe lancecorporal, Mr p. Brower.
