The Leader of the New Zealand Opposition (Mr Kirk) , says there is scope for greater co-operation in trade and education between his country and Singapore. Mr Kirk was speaking to reporters after a harbour and waterfront tour yesterday, the third day of his five-day visit
He said annual trade between New Zealand and the Republic amounted to about SUSS.Sm each way. This was only the beginning of the full trade potential. Mr Kirk was to meet the Prime Minister (Mr Lee Kuan Yew) and have dinner with the Minister for Culture (Mr Jek Yuen Thong) today.
