Fatal Air Crash

Thirteen persons, including the Czechoslovak commercial counsellor in Tripoli (Mr Jaroslav Janda) were killed when a Czechoslovak airliner crashed near Tripoli, Libya, yesterday. Eye-witnesses say that the Russian-built Tupolev 104 turbo-jet, on a flight from Prague via Tunis, was preparing to land when it crashed in hilly country near the air i port.—Tripoli, June 2.
