Collar-bone Broken

(N.Z. Press Association) NELSON. The brilliant centre-forward of the touring Jardines soccer club, Cheung Che Doy, broke his collar-bone in the match against the central region at Wellington on Monday. The manager of the club, Mr S. K. Koo, said on the team’s arrival in Nelson yesterday, that Cheung would return home to Hong Kong today. The Jardines team is to play a Nelson Invitation XI at Trafalgar Park tomorrow and will leave the next day for Auckland where it meets New Zealand on Saturday in the final game uf the six-match tour.

Cheung Che Doy, a former Blackpool player in the English League, scored all of his side’s goals in the 3-6 defeat by Canterbury last Thursday.
