In the following expenses returns for candidates in the las' General Election for the eight Christchurch seats, only major items of expenditure are listed; apart from the total expenditure of each candidate, round figures are used: AVON J. Appeal Lost—The Court of Appeal yesterday dismissed an appeal by Utuva Vaafusuaga against his sentence to four years imprisonment on a charge of causing grievous bodily harm to Anthony ShadIrack Sushames.—(P.A.)
