Open Squash To Dibley

(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. The Man«waty open squash rackets championships ended disappointingly when the former top player, T. Johnston (Rotorua), had to withdraw from the raen'i final against P. Dibley (Maketu) because of an ankle injury. This gave Dibley the men’s final without a fight.

Johnston earlier had beaten the New Zealand representatives, J. Isaacs and L. Greene.

There was a minor upset in the women’s final when Miss J. Webster, the second seed, came from two games down to win against the top seed. Miss C. Fleming, 7-9. 0-9, 9-5, 9-8. 9-6.
