Maori M.P. To Visit Aust.
(N.Z. Press Association) CANBERRA, May 27. Mr M. Rata, a Maori member of the New Zealand Parliament, will visit Australia next month under the reciprocal exchange programme of the Australian Institute of International Affairs. The director of the Institute (Dr T. B. Millar) said today that Mr Rata (Lab., Northern Maori) would visit all states and lecture to meetings sponsored by branches of the institute. Dr Millar said the institute would also sponsor a visit by Mr H. C. Templeton, the National Party M.P. for AwaIrua and a former diplomat.
