Direct Sales Rejected

(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, May 27. A move to have the wool auctioneering system changed in favour of a direct selling system was rejected at the inter-provincial Federated Farmere’ conference in Wanganui today. A remit, proposed by Manawatu, called for a report by a wool marketing study group tb be made available and for the auctioning system to be changed. The remit was lost, 17-13.
