Power Supply Seminar
A management forum for top executives from electricity supply authorities toll.be held at Wellington from May 26 to 28 under the auspices of the Electrical Supply Authorities’ Association. The object is to improve management techniques in the electrical distribution and supply industry. The Secret-ary-Manager of the association (Mr A. H. Heir); who is organising the forum, said that it was not a casual junket for executives. Past experience had shown that participants left mentally and physically exhausted. Among the South Island executives who will be attending the forum are Messrs B. J. Harris, supply engineer, and B. W. Laing, assistant secretary, Central Canterbury Electric Power Board; D. J. Binns, general manager, Ashburton Electric Power and, Gas Board: J. E. Coghlan, chief engineer, Waimea Electric Power Board; Miss M. E. Currie, secretary-treasurer and Mr A. G. Richards, engineer, Golden Bay Electric Power Board.
