Wool Frock

Mrs G. Inwood, of the Clarkville-East Eyreton branch won the W.D.F.F. regional competition for an allwool frock. Mrs M. Thompson, of Hurunui, was second. Mrs Inwood will go on to the national finals at New Plymouth in June. Also judged on the same day was the provincial section of the design for a W.D.F.F. tea towel, suitable for screen printing. Mrs J. Toshach, of the Swannanoa branch, was first, Mrs A. M. Winter of Cooper’s Creek branch, was. second.
