| (N Z PA. Staff Correspondent) LONDON B. Briggs, four times world (champion speedway rider, has withdrawn for personal reasons from the New Zealand team to ride in the world pairs championship in Sweden on June 2. Briggs was to have partnered 1 the world champion. 1. Mauger. They won the title last year and were expected to retain it. Now Mauger will be partnered Iby another New Zealander and a former world champion, R Moore. Briggs, who is said to earn about $5OO a night for his I track appearances, says that Moore is riding t well at present.
