take the lead in the A grade [inter-club billiards competition. It has 17 points. Christchurch R.S A., which, like Spreydon. is still unbeaten, ilies in second position with 16 points. Then follows Post Office,' Woolston W.M.C. I. Kaiapoi W.M.C. (12). Shirley-St Albans W.M.C. (10), Christchurch [W.M.C. (9). Hornby W.M.C. <8). Woolston W.M.C. II (7). and Richmond W.M.C. (2). Results were; Kaiapoi W.M.C. 2 (Adams 141. Burney 200. Rolleston 200), Post Office 1 (Simons 200. Golding 128. Bromley 141).
