INDONESIAN MARKET
Dairy Prospect “Outstanding”
(N.Z. Press Association)
WELLINGTON, May 22.
Indonesia represented an outstanding prospect as a market for New Zealand dairy products, said a spokesman for the Dairy Board yesterday. A delegation from the board spent some time in Indonesia last month in the course of a visit to South-East Asian markets. The board’s trade with Indonesia is growing. Sales were negligible two years ago, but this season, by the end of April, they exceeded 1000 tons of skimmilk powder and almost j reached 200 tons of wholemilk powder.
