Hopkinson Promoted

The Canterbury prop, A. E. Hopkinson, will take his rightful place in the main All Black trial at Athletic Park today. But it has taken an injury to N. W. Thimbleby (Hawke’s Bay) to rescue Hopkinson from the early game. Yesterday, Thimbleby was nursing a badly swollen knee—the legacy of a knock he sustained in the North Island trials on Wednesday.
