North Canterbury won the Federated Farmers' Golf Cup when the annual Canterbury Federated Fanners’ tournament was held at the Brandon Links. Results:
Highest stableford for the day: R. Drummond (North Canterbury), 41 points: R. Rutledge (North Canterbury), 38. Highest senior: B. M. Leighton (Mid-Canterbury) 37 points; F. Fetrich (South Canterbury), 36.
Highest intermediate: L. M. Thomas (Mid-Canterbury), 35 points; J. McFarlane (South Canterbury), 35.
Highest junior A: I. Chamberlain (North Canterbury), 37 points; G. K. Campbell (MidCanterbury), 35 points. Highest junior B: N. McFadden (Mid-Canterbury), 37 points; P. Dolan (Mid-Canter-bury), 37.
