HEARTBEAT ROSE.—As a tribute to the British Heart Foundation, the rose growers, Dicksons of Hawlmark, have’ named a new rose Heartbeat. Some of the profits from the sale of the rose will be given to the foundation. In the photograph, an actress, Jean White, whose heart is kept beating by an electric pacemaker, poses with a bunch of the new roses.
