Cricketers Withdrawn

(N.Z P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) CARDIFF.

The West Indians, B. Davis and A. Cordle, and the Pakistani, Majid Khan, will not play for English county cricket champion, Glamorgan, against the South Africans on July 25. Mr O. Wheatley, chairman of the Glamorgan selectors, said yesterday: “In view of the threatening letters these players have received, they will not be considered for selection for the South African game.”

Several other overseas players connected with county clubs have withdrawn from matches.
