Lane Driving

Sir,—l am a cyclist and I think it is about time something was done about motorists using the wrong lanes. Twice I have been nearly knocked off my bicycle at the intersection of Durham and Lichfield Streets. I consider I was following the arrows correctly, but if I had not anticipated what the motorist was going to do I could easily have been another accident victim, through a selfish motorist bent on getting to a certain place in five minutes. If they are in such a hurry to get into the departed world I am not.— Yours, etc., CYCLIST. May 20, 1970.
