“Stand Up And Speak Out”

Sir,—Call it what one may, the establishment, orthodoxy, democracy, Christian values, morality, etc., youth today

sees the way of life of the present adult world as nothing but mounting confusion and despair, suspicion, hate, profligacy, destruction, gross hypocrisy and sham values, double talk and mass dishonesty, with violence threatened towards any person or group inspiring or organising towards a sane, just, and healthy world. Even the political parties speak with split tongues, while no criticism of prosperity, brotherhoods or institutions is allowed iij, an open honest way. Hence, all power to protesting world-wide youth who are organising to introduce justice and honesty. For it is impossible to see how confusion being thrice confounded can result in order and sanity. So youth today is only doing on a mass universal scale what some handful of us adults have been doing all our lives. And sham democracy will pillory them and put every possible obstacle in their path towards a future worth living and out of a sheer nightmare.— Yours, etc..
