Mr H. W. Menzies, whose death had occurred recently, had been a valued and active member of the old Banks Peninsula Electric Power Board, said the chairman (Mr P. G. Wederell) when the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board passed a motion of sympathy with Mr Menzies’s relatives.
Discharged.—Clive Latham McKay, a workman (Mr D. M. Palmer), was granted a discharge from bankruptcy [by Mr Justice Wilson in the Court yesterday.
