Dismissal By Magistrate

“I believe that a convic- ■ tion in the case now before me would reflect upon the sense of fairness both of the law enforcement officers and of this court,” Mr T. A. Ross. S.M.. said in the Oamaru Magistrate’s Court today when he dismissed a charge; of driving with excessive [ alcohol in the blood against 1 Lindsay Gordon Scott, aged | 20, a labourer.
When the charge was heard earlier it was said that Scott was spoken to outside a bottle store by the police, who asked him to drive to the police station. When he arrived there, he was asked to submit to a breath test.
