PALMERSTON NORTH HOSPITAL BOARD FELLOWSHIP IN RADIOTHERAPY TRAINING OVERSEAS THE PALMERSTON NORTH HOSPITAL BOARD in association with the Central Districts Division of the Cancer Society of New Zealand Inc. invites applications from Registered Medical Practitioners for a Fellowship of up to $5620 per annum for 2 years according to experience and qualifications plus a subsistence allowance of $l5OO per annum and tourist class steamship passage for the applicant, his wife and family to and from the United Kingdom to enable the successful applicant to study the management of Cancer and allied diseases and to obtain an approved Diploma in Radiotherapy. Central Pacific. DUTIES: To sit as Magistrate in the District court and as Coroner and to act as Registrar of the Supreme Court of Nauru. In addition the appointee will be required to counsel and guide lay Magistrates in the performance of their duties, to review (and where necessary revise) and to supervise the work of the District Court and its administration and to train Police Prosecutors and generally to undertake revision and training work in the District Court and in the Registry of the Supreme Court. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant should be qualified as solicitors or barristers and should have experience as a Magistrate and/or as a Registrar of a superior court.
