The Educational Institute, the organisation of primary schoolteachers, tonight took the final steps necessary to form itself into a professional body. At its annual meeting in; Rotorua a report outlining proposed grades of membership and the setting up of a professional committee was approved | The report, prepared by the ; national executive, met with 11 some opposition, but was car- , ried by a clear majority. J It was agreed to have associates, fellows, andi honorary ; fellows as classes of memberships.
