Accident In Trawler
A 35-year-old Japanese shipmaster, Captain Toshisko Hatakenaka, of the 224-tonj trawler Hime Maru No. 18, had his right arm crushed when it was eaught in the ship’s fish eonveyer belt off Banks Peninsula on Tuesday evening. The trawler entered Lyttelton yesterday so that Captain Hatakenaka could receive medical attention.
