Fisheries Director
The appointment of Mr B. T. Cunningham as Director of Fisheries was announced by the Marine Department yesterday. He has been Assistant Director of Fisheries since 1967.
Mr Cunningham, who joined the Marine Department in 1947 as an assistant biologist (freshwater), was appointed biologist in 1953. He was promoted to fishery officer (freshwater) in 1956 and senior fishery officer in 1559. In 1966 he was appointed supervisor, fisheries scientists.
