ST ALBANS SCHOOL

New Library Planned Plans for a school library, costing about $6500, have been approved by the' St Albans School Parent-Teacher Association and the school committee. The P.T.A. and the committee hope to have the library finished for the school’s centenary in February, 1973. The Canterbury Education Board has to approve the design before building starts. The president of the P.T.A., Mr K. D. McConnel, said he hopes building will have started by th; end of 1971. Mr McConnel said the P.T.A. would raise the money by holding treks, scrap-metal and newspaper drives, stalls, and a fair to be held later this year.
