Stamp Week In June

The Keeper of Stamps at the British Museum (Mr J. A.

Mac Kay) will visit New Zealand next month for a national Stamp Week organised by the stamp trade. A feature of the week will be a contest to design a stamp

depicting some aspect of the New Zealand tourist industry. There will probably be separate competitions for junior and senior groups and prizes will be substantial—such as a week-end for two at the Hermitage. To coincide with the opening of Stamp Week will be I the launching in New Zealand! [of the world’s first stamp en- ■ cyclopaedia, of which Mr MacKay is editor-in-chief.
